PROJECT SCOPE
Challenge/Opportunity:
- Arts on the Ave operates a volunteer powered coffeehouse, the Carrot Community Arts Coffeehouse. All the revenue from the coffeehouse goes to our many projects. Some of our projects include festivals such as Deep Freeze and Kaleido Family Arts Festival.
- Before COVID-19 we were able to host various events at our coffeehouse like a wine and cheese night, band performances, artisans market.
- With government costs and COVID-19, it has presented various challenges for Arts on the Ave activities and events in the community.
-Arts on the Ave is continuously adapting and recreating our approach on hosting our events to adhere to all recommended restrictions. We wanted to fully utilize the internet to attract more patrons as well as in-person attendance in compliance to public health protocols.
-With this pilot event it will bring more awareness to the community of what Alberta Ave has to offer and to showcase the uniqueness of it to a wider audience.-The coffeehouse acts as a space where our staff can work and our executive director can meet important people as well as conducting our coffee business as usual.
Our goal at the end of this experience is:
● Market Research - For the students to help The Carrot gain a better understanding how
to communicate with our target market and ensure to meet our goals.● Prospecting Strategy - For the students to help The Carrot implement strategies and advertising plans to boost our reach out other community on participating on this event.
● SEO Strategy and Recommendations - For the students to help us generate more traffic and online presence in promoting the project.
● Strategic Social Media Marketing - For the students to help us improve our virtual approach, reach more customers, and effectively promote our event through compelling content.
