The challenge

Here's something you've heard before: 2020 was an unprecedented year. As the COVID-19 pandemic forced us to self-isolate at home, how we conceptualize and engage with creativity, work, collaboration, ethics, food, community, sustainability — everything — changed. We were in an innovation crisis.

For that reason, Conexkt hosted its inaugural Conexkt Days: a five-day virtual speaking event featuring experts from around the world sharing insights and strategies for navigating this new environment.

Now, it's time for round two — only, this year, we have new questions to answer. Questions like:

• What will the future look like?
• What do ethical development and innovation entail in 2021?
• How have the events of the last few years changed the course of the future?
• How do we best prepare ourselves, our projects, our communities and our organizations for the decades to come?

These questions are the foundation of Conexkt's second annual Conexkt Days series. In a phrase, we need to become future-proof.

And we need your help.

HOW YOU CAN HELP:

As a student intrapreneur working on the Conexkt Days: Future-proof event, you'll be responsible for planning, scheduling, promoting and moderating this 2-3-day speaker series. You'll reach out to potential guests and hosts, publicize the event on Instagram, Facebook and the Conexkt website, keep track of RSVPs, respond to inquiries, moderate the live talks and Q&A sessions and upload the final discussions to YouTube.

You and your fellow intrapreneurs are the directors; Conexkt Days: Future-proof is your film.

Plus, project management, digital communication and organization are some of employers' most sought-after skills in today's job market. Your work on Future-proof will prepare entrepreneurs for their future — and it'll prepare you for yours, too.

Working with Conexkt, you'll have flexibility and independence to exercise your creative visions, support from all sides when you need it and will be surrounded by experts continuously committed to improving themselves and their fields.

• Designing visual content for social media posts and website
• Scheduling and uploading Instagram and Facebook posts
• Responding to comments, questions and concerns on Instagram and Facebook
• Identifying and reaching out to potential speakers and hosts
• Drafting an event schedule
• Replying to email inquiries about the event
• Assembling and maintaining a website page containing event details using Squarespace
• Writing news posts about the event for the company website
• Recording, editing and uploading live talks to YouTube following the event
• Moderating Q&A periods during the event
• Moderating the live chat during the event
• Collaborating with fellow intrapreneurs to maintain consistent internal and external communication
