SafePath is a mobile application that crowdsources data to make active human-powered transportation safer. The app allows users to share experiences with obstructions, hazards and unsafe events on sidewalks, pathways and bike lanes. The success of collecting real-time data is based on engagement from the community. This project is to design social media content for us to engage with youth.
KEY PROJECT ACTIVITES:
- Understand SafePath
- Interview a broad range of youth to understand their level of interest in using SafePath
- Identify methods to engage with student and youth
- Craft key messages and a strategy to engage with youth
- Gather user feedback about SafePath from youth, if time available
