Overview
Learner goals and capabilities

Bring entry-level front-end developers to your organization.

Participants will begin this 5-week project-based experience after completing a 6-week upskilling track in front-end web development with JavaScript. Participants will have the foundational skills to build responsive, interactive, and dynamic websites and landing pages using HTML CSS & JavaScript.

Participants will attend a virtual orientation with AHF and Riipen on November 2nd, 2022 at 6-7:00pm ET and will work on projects between Nov 14th - Dec 16th, 2022.

Expected outcomes and deliverables

Project deliverables will depend on the scope of the project and are based on a 5 week timeframe at 20 hours (total) per individual working in small teams. See examples of deliverables below.

Some final project deliverables might include:

  • A responsive landing page built using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Build or update an existing website - for example:

1. Update key pages on your existing website to be more effective and modern.

2. Update web page functionality with JavaScript.

3. Refresh the look and feel of a website with CSS and HTML.
