Details

Students are looking for short-term volunteer experiences prior to their paid work Co-operative Education terms. Most students would be available to dedicate up five hours a week to project work. In the MacEwan university Co-operative Education stream, we have students from all majors of the School of Business:

Project Examples

Below is a list limited list of options. We are seeking any projects to match with students in those disciplines.

For an accounting major students could provide bookkeeping support or create financial statement.

For a human resources management major, a student could write a job description or review a policy.

An international business major could conduct a SWOT analysis for a company looking to enter an international market

A legal studies in business major could conduct some policy analysis or research a legal topic,

A management major could analyze business strategy or make recommendations on organizational culture and management

A marketing major could conduct marketing research or contribute to social media campaigns.

A supply chain management could conduct a review of inventory management processes or analyze transportation costs.

Additional company criteria

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

A representative of the company will be available to answer questions from students in a timely manner for the duration of the project.

A representative of the company will be available for a pre-selection discussion with the administrator of the course to review the project scope.
