  • 3-6 month plan for sourcing a pool of top candidates for a given position.
  • Templates for job postings.
  • Legal compliance information.
  • Suggested recruitment methods and channels by job type.
  • Resume management recommendations.
  • Candidate shortlisting techniques.
  • Recommendations on the use of tests.
  • Interview procedures.
  • Behavioural, chronological, case, or written interview guides
  • Reference check templates.

Project Examples

Students will develop an action plan and go-to-market strategy, including ready-to-use templates, to address issues and opportunities in your hiring, branding, and planning processes. They will focus on the talent, strategy, planning, and attraction aspects most critical to your organization and provide innovative solutions to help you overcome the talent crunch.

Project examples include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Creative approaches for attracting and recruiting candidates, including diversity recruitment strategies or strategies for difficult-to-fill roles.
  • Evaluating and improving current recruitment channels (events, job boards, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Designing a comprehensive talent acquisition playbook for managers.
  • Enhancing candidate experience through improved resources and guides.
  • Improving job posting templates and career website content to boost your employment brand.
  • Creating or redesigning screening and interview guides with effective assessment questions.

Additional company criteria

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Share feedback and recommendations about the project deliverables with the students and instructor.

To provide efficiency in the information sharing process and minimize the time commitment required by the organization, a web conference may be scheduled in advance with the lead of the participating organization. The Instructor may ask that you participate in a webinar session for students by providing an overview of your organization, project and desired outcomes.

Provide an online video or link to your website to introduce the students to your organization prior to starting the project.

Provide a dedicated contact who will be available to answer periodic emails or phone calls over the duration of the project to address student’s questions or provide additional information. Minimum of 2-4 interactions with each student group leader (approximately 4-6 hours over the duration of the project). Let the students/instructor know if you will be away for an extended time (e.g., vacation).

Be available for a quick phone call with the organizer to initiate your relationship and confirm your scope is an appropriate fit for the experience. Advise the instructor if students will be required to sign an NDA prior to beginning the project.
