Marketing Plan for Fintech Startup
About Us Hi, we're Kunye, a Canadian-based FinTech startup helping immigrants ensure that international money transfers are used for their intended purpose by facilitating borderless financial collaboration, anchored by conversation. At Kunye, we are building a platform for the conversations that matter. Conversations are a catalyst for creating community, ideas and making things happen. Our mission is to facilitate conversations that lead to better relationships and healthier finances. Our goal is to make borderless financial collaboration, as natural as a conversation. We live in a world where communication is borderless, so we believe touching the lives of those we care most about should be as simple as a conversation. The Project- Marketing Plan and Execution Strategy Development We seeking students to help us build a marketing plan to grow and engage our target market - individuals who manage financial responsibilities across continents, sending money from Canada to Africa with a focus on immigrants sending money to Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria and Zimbabwe, living in Canada who send money transfers to their home countries and manage financial responsibilities across continents. We’d like to know how we can maximize different channels and what will work best for us given brand image, product positioning and audience. The main questions we’d like students to help us answer are the following: How should we promote our company to grow our community and user base? What channels should we utilize to best connect with our audience? What messaging should we use in our content and how should we deliver it? You will have access to our marketing team, who will communicate regularly with you and provide all the information and clarification needed. Learning Outcomes This project will help students gain insight into the rapidly evolving Canadian Fintech landscape from the perspective of a financial startup bringing a product to market in a fast-paced and competitive environment. This project provides a unique glance into the global remittance market and how people are leveraging technology to make financial collaboration tools more readily accessible to people across the world. Students will learn about the influence culture has on how different people manage their money and financial responsibilities, as well as providing insights into the various mechanisms and considerations one has to manage when managing expenses across continents.
Product specifications document
Develop a product requirements document describing a feature or improvement that responds to a business problem of our choosing. Introduction: In the rapidly evolving financial technology landscape, there is a discernible gap in user experience and accessibility across diverse financial services. Existing standalone applications often fail to provide users with a seamless, integrated platform to manage their financial activities comprehensively. Users are compelled to navigate multiple applications for banking, investments, insurance, and payments, resulting in a fragmented and inefficient financial management experience. Objective: Kunye currently provides a financial technology application where users can perform specific cross-border financial transactions such as remittance and bill payments. We would like to integrate other financial services into our application to offer single-point access for users to seamlessly manage banking, investment, insurance, and payment services within a unified application.
