Developing a Marketing Strategy and Plan

We are looking to have a marketing strategy and plan, including a communication plan, written which we can deploy. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: - Researching the target market and understanding the needs of the customers. - Developing a marketing strategy and plan that will help swrm reach our goals. - Creating a communication plan that will help swrm effectively communicate its message to the target market. - Researching and evaluating potential marketing channels and tactics. - Developing a timeline for the implementation of the marketing plan and communication plan.

Content Strategy for Optimising Engagement and Growing Social Platforms

The goal of this project is to build a content marketing strategy that we can apply and action, to increase brand awareness and build engagement. We have a presence on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube. As well as having an education section of our website for articles. But we have no current, clear strategy for optimising engagement and growing these platforms, and we need one. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: - Researching and understanding our target audience and their preferences. - Developing a content marketing strategy to increase engagement and brand awareness. - Developing a calendar to provide a framework for implementing the content. - Creating content ideas and/or actual content, for each platform that is tailored to the target audience.

Climate Change and Sustainability Education

The goal of this project is to educate people who have an interest in environmental sustainability and climate change about specific subjects which relate to climate, living sustainably, and new tech developments to help avoid climate catastrophe. The project will involve researching and fact-checking articles, and then publishing them on our website and within our App. As important as communicating with people already engaged in the climate/sustainability space, is the aim to reach people who may not have already decided that these subject matters are important.

Digital Content Creation

We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. We recognize that our current reach isn't large enough to be having the positive impact we desire (and that which the planet needs!). So we need to grow our reach and speak to more people. To that end, and due to the inextricable link between social justice and climate justice, we'd like to specifically work on reaching disadvantaged and lower socio-economic groups. To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) to complete one or more of these, based on their specific skillset: Write educational articles on climate change/climate science topics Create a social media plan to target more people across all channels Create 3 pieces of educational material which people can use as a reference for making changes in their lives. In summary, you'll be working on content creation for our organization, including social media posts, articles, and other collateral that we can use as go-to education tools. If you like the sound of what we're doing (trying to save the planet through increased climate education and decreased carbon emissions!), then we'd love to hear from you! A student or team with excellent writing and/or social media skills would be the ideal candidate for this project.

App Prototype - Android platform

We have a current iOS App which allows consumers to measure (and therefore reduce) their carbon footprint. The user enters details about their household energy use, transportation use and by scanning the barcodes of products at the grocery store to then select the most environmentally responsible version. We are currently updating and improving the UX of this, and wish to also launch it on Android. We would like students to: Write the source code using swrm algorithms for the Android platform. Create a working prototype.

Website Update

We would like a new website for our organization. The website should be built on Wordpress. We would like to work with students to develop a new website for us. Students should be prepared to: Create a design proposal including wireframes or low-fidelity mockups for our company's review. Build a fully-functioning website, with our assistance in providing content and copy. Provide training on updating and maintaining the site.
