Our current website requires updating to be a small e-commerce website with attractive design. There is a prototype already. Refinements are needed to make it usable online. We would like to collaborate with students to develop pages/designs that attract users navigate the site and can shop online directly. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Identifying and researching useful web pages that can be included on our website. Creating new pages for the website, with our assistance in providing the content. Reviewing and updating old web pages to ensure consistency of information. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Recommending potential upgrades or features that can be included in the website We also have a front-end design/prototype of mobile app which would need backend development. Mobile App UI / UX Design & Prototype
Our company would like to explore designing a prototype for an international mobile application version of our current web based product. We currently sell our product via the website and we would like to start to attempt to capture some of that user activity via a mobile application. Tasks may include: Conducting background research on our existing web application for the products. Identifying key areas of our current product and how they might translate to a mobile application. Learning and using various software design tools. Creation of a screen by screen UX / UI prototype of a native mobile application which can be used on both iOS and Android Conducting UX / UI testing with real potential users potentially involving paper prototypes or other software tools to support this

Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Application
Since the perfumers are expensive on salaries, we are planning to leverage AI to create fragrance formulas. So we can avoid high expenditure on payroll as well as speed up the creation process. Applications of AI technology include recommendation algorithms, AI customer service, formula creation based on customer's preferences and regulation compliance check. We would like to collaborate with students to apply the latest artificial intelligence (AI), large language model (LLM) and machine learning (ML) techniques to our existing dataset. Students will develop an AI / ML model related to any of the aforementioned applications. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Conducting background research on our existing products and the dataset. Analyzing our current dataset. Researching the latest AI / ML techniques, such as DeepSeek R1, and how they could be applied to our data. Developing an AI / ML model that provides unique outcomes or insights into our data. Providing multiple solutions that can be applied to solve the same problem.
