Prototypes - Product Market Fit/Customer Validation
Each of the SaaS products below have multiple milestones ranging from 80-140 hours. Digital Caddy - golfer app BoardBooster - culture and governance app for boards (profit and non-profit) Perspective Leadership - leadership brand tool for executives Adeline Health - health tech tool for seniors (ageing population) Joule Collective - carbon offsets & renewable energy credit marketplace Desired outcome (for each product): Working prototype with beta user feedback collection Launch page created with a clear call to action to validate the market need Distribution channels identified and strategy created (eg. social, survey, partner programs). How will the product get out to the desired market? Data/response/performance of the launch page with A/B testing capabilities CMS (customer management system) integrated into the page Students should be prepared to: create a simple, clear and frictionless experience on the launch page (goal is to convert as many calls to action as possible related to the product) Propose (or test) the best channel (customer) distribution strategy and the technology required (eg. CMS and or rapid prototype software) Fully operational launch page Fully functioning prototype
Golf & Data - a perfect match
Spots: Up to 5 individual students 100% remote/virtual - data and mathematics are available and need to be collated. Are you a golf and data enthusiast? Then this project is for you. Research, create and structure data on golf ball distance in yards, per club (Driver to PW) and per mph of swing speed (80 mph to 120 mph). Additional variables of temperature, wind direction and altitude will require additional relational database structure. Deliverables collect and create data for 13 golf clubs, 40 swing speeds, 25 wind speeds x 3 directions (into, down, across), 30 temperatures, and 10 elevations build database and simple user interface for mobile use on the course program the calculations to produce the adjusted yardage from any combination of the above data variables. Example use case A player with 100 mph driver swing speed will carry the ball 241 yards with zero wind at a temp of 24 C. If the same player is playing at 2000 ft altitude, in temp of 10 C and a headwind of 10km, how much carry distance (in yards) will be lost or gained? The answer: Baseline carry yardage: 241yds + 6yds (altitude) - 5yds (temp) - 8yds (wind) = 234 yds (net loss of 7 yds in these conditions)

Additional variables of temperature, wind direction and altitude will require additional relational database structure. The output of this project will be to produce the adjusted yardage from any combination of the above data variables. If the same player is playing at 2000 ft altitude, in 10 C and a headwind of 10km, how much carry distance (in yards) will be lost or gained?
