At Simply Floss, our mission is to help encourage everyone to maintain strong gums and a healthy smile. In addition to regular visits to a dentist, flossing is a critical part of proper personal oral hygiene. Sadly, too few of us floss regularly. As a dental hygienist with over 30 years experience and a regular at dental industry conferences, I know that encouraging flossing is the most effective route to strong gums and a healthy smile.

The primary goal of this project is to collaborate with someone who has a flair for creative writing ( a bit of a cheeky twist to make the dreaded floss habit fun) to develop high quality copy for various marketing materials, including website content social media posts, email newsletters, blogs and more. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to showcase their creativity and contribute to our brand's voice and identity through their writing. SEO and Coding Assistance for SimplyFloss Phase I
1.The primary objective of this project is to collaborate with someone who is proficient in coding to redesign and code the SimplyFloss website in shopify. 2.Working with our team to implement advanced features, optimize website performance, and ensure responsive design across all devices. 3.This project will not only provide valuable hands-on-experience in website development but also serve as an opportunity for the someone to showcase their coding skills on a real-world project. END GOAL/DELIVERABLES Keyword research: identify relevant keywords and phrases related to oral health, flossing, and related topics On-page Optimization: The student should optimize on-page elements such as meta titles, description, headers and content to improve overall relevance of websites pages Content Strategy: Including creating informative and engaging blog posts, articles, and other content that address common questions and concerns related to oral health/flossing Link Building: work on building quality backlinks from relevant websites to improve the search engine rankings Technical SEO: Address technical issues that may affect website's performance in search engines such as site speed, mobile friendliness and crawlability. Performance Tracking: Tracking key performance indicators such as organic traffic, keyword rankings and conversions to measure the effectiveness of their SEO efforts.
