Work experience
receptionist
General practitioners Office
Harlow, England, United Kingdom
October 14 - November 2
Volunteer work: At my time spent in the GP, I had the role of sorting prescriptions, organizing folders of patients in the administrative department, I watched and helped to book appointments on the computer system. I had the opportunity to interact with the patients and my other colleagues within the practice. I was able to work on my time management skills; there was a time constraint in which I had to collect, sort out and deliver the prescriptions to the pharmacy.

(Volunteer) I was placed in the Orthopaedic surgical unit. My time at the hospital was very beneficial. I had the opportunity to observe appointments, pre op patients, physiotherapy classes and I was able to go to different wards and shadow different specialists. This was an enlightening experience, as I was able to help people at fragile stages of their lives.
