We would like students to help us with creating content that drives traffic to our website. We are specifically interested in content that engages students and youth (ages 15-30). We will work with the students to outline our specific goals, the lessons we have learned, and the strategy we are currently employing.
Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for Cayop, sharing certain posts on our social media accounts, managing a LinkedIn newsletter, and sharing educational/motivational content on social media. Students could also work with our partner organizations to create custom posts and a review of the services delivered by the organization.
About Cayop
Cayop is a newly launched platform for Canadian youth opportunities. We aim to connect youth and students with the latest opportunities, including internships, hackathons, forums/conferences, and funding for youth-led initiatives. We are a small start-up based on Ottawa.
To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will:
- Write email newsletters/sequences, LinkedIn newsletters, and other content pieces on assigned topics;
- Create a database of student media groups to promote Cayop;
- Create a template for sharing outcomes of posts with our partner organizations;
- Identify media outlets that are most beneficial to share our story; and,
- Contact student career services (training will be provided).
The Founder of Cayop is a career coach by practice. He has worked as a Student Career Coach at a university previously and has worked as an independent Career Consultant for the past six years. Student interns will be supported on the projects and will have the option to get their resumes and LinkedIn profile reviewed.
