Details

Our company has a MVP currently being tested with our customers. In the background, a Figma protoeype has been developed and we are looking for support to transform the screens into an interactive design replicating how a user may interact with our mobile app.

Ultimately this work will act as a blueprint for our future-state app, plus will assist us in pitching to investors.

To replicate how the user may interact with the app, the work will involve

  • Create connections between frames to create flows and/or pathways
  • Define the type of interactions users can have with each connection
  • Adjust the animations to determine how the prototype moves from one Frame to the other.
Deliverables

By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities:

  • Familiarize themselves with our existing product (v1)
  • Create the connections, interactions and animations for our two customer segments

Final deliverables should include:

  • The design screens/videos and all assets in a shareable format (can be embedded into a pitch deck)
Mentorship

Students will connect directly with the two co-founders for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

  • Current product understanding and v1.0 background
  • Any sort of branding or styling advice
  • Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter

Borrow Me Baby is a parent-to-parent baby gear rental community.

Our mission is to create a sustainable online network that supports families by saving them time, money, and energy as they navigate the challenges of parenthood. We achieve this by connecting parents in local communities to lend and borrow baby items. Our platform handles communications and financial transactions securely and doubles as a community review site to help parents decide what’s best for them.

We’re motivated by our core values of accessibility, inclusion, and sustainability. To foster accessibility, BMB offers both web and mobile-friendly platforms. There are no barriers or fees to join. Borrowers can access high quality baby goods without the hefty price tag and long-term commitment, while families can recoup costs of their items when not in use e.g. between children.
