The goal of this project is to develop a research backed a go-to market strategy for a new customer segment: Content Creators.
Rolling Insights defines "Content Creators" in the sports industry as individuals who are looking to create a name or reputation for themselves off sports analysis or opinion, which oftentimes is based on data. These could include but are not limited to professional and aspiring Sports Journalists, Sports Analysts, Podcast Hosts, Video Content Creators, Social Media Influencer, and/or Bloggers who require sports data to inform their opinions.
1) Market Research
- Content Creator Needs and Pain Points
- Competitive Analysis of how SportWise stacks up against tools currently used by Content Creators
- Identify any feature gaps
- Identify prospective Price Range for this group
2) Go To Market Strategy
- Marketing Messaging to attract and retain Content Creators (website, in-product, social, email, etc)
- Roll Out Strategy to distribute messaging and sign up content creators (could be online, in person, etc)
- Identify key metrics to measure success
- Proposed Work Schedule for Rolling Insights team or other to implement the strategy
