The main goal of this project is to create, market and manage a crowd funding and grant writing campaign to help build out our non profit laundromat in the remote community of Squamish. We need to raise funds to develop a new location and provide access to showers, washrooms and laundry facilities to the vulnerable and low-income residents of the community.

The tasks that learners will need to complete to achieve the project goal include:

- Researching and identifying potential funding sources.

- Developing a comprehensive grant writing and crowd funding strategy.

- Creating a budget for the project.

- Developing a marketing plan to promote the project.

- Creating a website to promote the project.

- Writing grant applications and crowd funding campaigns - launch the online campaign.

- Managing the fundraising process.

- Tracking and reporting on the progress of the project.

By the end of the project, learners should demonstrate:

- An understanding of the funding sources available for the project.

- A comprehensive grant writing and crowd funding strategy.

- A budget for the project.

- A marketing plan to promote the project.

- A website to promote the project.

- Grant applications and crowd funding campaigns.

- A plan for managing the fundraising process.
