We have a team of freedivers who clean up garbage from local lakes and rivers, we would like to grow this account to encourage more people to clean up in their community.
This will include:
- Working with project leads to come up with content ideas for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
- Editing video footage to create engaging videos.
- Writing environmentally focused posts to enable us to reach a broader audience.
- Social media content creation
- Image and video editing and manipulation
- potential script design.
Students will connect directly with the project supervisors for guidance and supervision throughout the project.
About the company
PickEco Refills is a zero waste grocery store in Chilliwack BC. We are more than a retail store, we are a hub for environmental activism and education. Our goal is simple: reduce the amount of plastic that ends up in our lakes, rivers and oceans. We have several approaches to this goal, and the first step is always education and prevention.
