We are developing a website which displays structured data from a database. The database can store the data (a lot of numbers) coming from various sources such as files, sensors, manually entered etc. The website is based on various technologies such as MySQL, Django, HTML, CSS etc. The main goal of the project is to display thumbnails (on the homepage) of selected charts where the main objective is to keep data size to be small. The thumbnails will represent some highlighted charts from profiles of different users. The thumbnails will show the name of the user and a snapshot of the chart.

The students will be performing these tasks:

1. Learn Django if they don't know already

2. Build a website with user profiles and let each user upload data through manually uploaded files

3. Display the data in the form of chart

4. Select a few charts from each user profile and display that on the homepage of the website

We will provide them regular mentorship as well as guidance towards learning the technologies for the project. We will also provide them the prospects of this project towards their career.
