What is the main goal for this project?

The goal of this project is to develop and refine a robotic navigation algorithm for Acrylic Robotics’ robotic painting arm, allowing their CoBots to navigate canvas painting effectively. This will involve several different steps for the students, including:


- Researching existing robotic navigation algorithms and technologies.


- Developing a new robotic navigation algorithm that takes into account the specific needs of Acrylic Robotics’ robotic painting arm.


- Testing the new algorithm with the robotic painting arm and making adjustments as needed.


- Optimizing the algorithm for maximum efficiency and accuracy.


What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:


- Understanding of existing robotic navigation algorithms and technologies.


- Development of a new robotic navigation algorithm that takes into account the specific needs of Acrylic Robotics’ robotic painting arm.


- Testing and optimization of the new algorithm with the robotic painting arm.
