Number of individual students required: 15 students, any Province or Territory, Canada

1000 Towns of Canada digital platform was launched three years ago. We created about 100 unique pages Top Places to Visit in Your Town.

We would like students to help us with creating content about small Canadian towns that are aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. You can check existing pages on 1000towns.ca to clarify our formats.

We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization.

To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will:

  • Choose 7-10 towns they are interested
  • Choose the most interesting attractions for each town (7-10)
  • Write a short description of each attraction
  • 'Communicate with local communities asking for feedback and ideas
  • Assist with social media to promote 1000 Towns

Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for our organization.

If you like the sound of our culture and enjoyment of travelling off-the-beaten-path and are ready to tackle this challenge with us, then we'd love to hear from you.

A student with excellent writing skills and an interest in local travelling would be the ideal candidate for this project.
