Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

Canada Robotix is a growing retailer of robotic and electronic parts and components for educational institutions, students, and makers. In addition to selling electronics, we are also creating resources for educators, students, and makers around the world with project ideas to inspire their electronics journey.

Under the guidance of the lead engineer, the student will generate some unique ideas for 90 minutes projects. Then the student will meet with the lead engineer to narrow down to two projects for project content creation. Content to be created for the project includes but not limited to step-by-step guide blog posting, documentation with photos and video, functional code.

This is a remote internship, details of logistics will be arranged once the student starts the project.

The student will need knowledge of (or willing to self learn):

  • Arduino (C/C++ programming)
  • Raspberry Pi (Python programming)
  • Electronics fundamentals (ie. knowledge of resistor, capacitor, diode, battery, and their relationship)
  • Writing skills
  • Git
  • Some HTML knowledge

Successful delivery of the project will be measured by:

  • Complete development of a step-by-step guide for 2-3 projects per part
  • Complete documentation with photos and videos of 2-3 projects per part
  • Complete development of code for 2-3 projects per part
