BB Enterprises Inc. was created in October 2019 to offer special weighted blankets to consumers. The fabric used for the blankets have nanosize silver particles which are coated with cotton fiber to block 99.9% of electromagnetic radiation.

By blocking EMF radiation the blankets protect the users from EMF’s destructive effect on serotonin and melatonin hormones, therefore improve user's sleep quality and mental well being. Silver as a known wound healer agent amplifies the health benefits of the blankets by also having anti-viral and anti-bacterial, anti-allergic properties. Silver infused weighted blankets do carry far infrared energy in their filling material; bioceramic beads to bring good effect of FIR to the body during long sleep hours. The company also offers non-weighted blankets made with silver fabric for adults and babies.

Description of the project:

The main goal is to measure the physical properties of silver fabric by using laboratory-graded devices. The 2 main physical properties that would be measured during this study are 1- EMF attenuation level of the silver fabric for different frequencies 2- Anti-viral/anti-bacterial effect of the silver fabric for common viruses or bacteria. The attenuation values of silver-infused fabric can be measured by logarithmic ratios or percentage levels for different frequencies of EMF radiation.

The measurements can be taken from:

• uncontrolled environmental location (background level)
• close to high-level EMF emitters
• close to 5G wireless signal sources

The measurements would include Low-Frequency ELF fields ( ELF-EMF) and radiofrequency/microwave radiation emissions (RF-EMF) from different emitters which are used in the home and work environments. The measurements would be taken before and after placing the blankets between the source of the networks and the EMF meters. Many studies clearly show the hazardous effect of low level exposure to electromagnetic fields and radiofrequency radiation, our results would be helpful to educate the population about the EMF exposure levels in daily modern life and offer them a certain level of protection with using our products.

The results are especially very important for protecting babies, toddlers, and pregnant mothers. The results of our study will also be helpful to offer a non-toxic and harmless solution to patients suffering from Electo- Magnetic Hypersensitivity Syndrome.

The second half of the study will conduct the anti-viral and anti-bacterial effects of the silver fabric and FIR emitting bioceramic beads. This part would be done at microbiology laboratories. The fabric and beads would be tested for their anti-microbic properties against common bacteria and virus agents. The results can have an important effect on defining public health strategies on infectious diseases.

• Excellent planning and scheduling skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of research methodologies and techniques
• Good analytic thinking skills with attention to details
• Able to accurately collect, handle and process data
• Able to write a research report using database
• Previous project management skills and research experience is preferred

The students would be supplied necessary material and samples. The tests an their results are evaluated by group meetings and student instructors.
