TAPP is the first, digital, one-stop-hub for all anonymous community, mental health support, and wellness resources curated to educators. We‘re working on a few outreach items and need your help!

This outreach project can be worked on with 2+ people: one half of the team managing our newsletter, and the other managing our podcast. The goal is to put ourselves out there more through email marketing and storytelling.

*A strong passion for mental health and education is a huge asset for this project.

Deliverables

For the podcast producer/editor, you will:

1. Brainstorm 6 podcast ideas/guests to interview & confirm them in our calendar

2. Either interview them yourself or prepare an interview for our CEO to conduct

3. Edit the footage to create reels out of the content and to condense the ep. into 20-30 minute episodes to publish on Apple Music and Spotify

*We already have 2 podcast episode recordings we can have you start editing!

For the newsletter curator, you will:

1. Take podcast episodes & incorporate them into the newsletter every time one is ready to go!

2. Curate and publish one newsletter per week with resources, news, invites, community events, etc… And before you do that, find newsletters you enjoy receiving and try to implement what you like about them.

3. Help us reach our marketing goals by tracking engagement of newsletter receptivity and tweak newsletter according to needs.

4. Recruit more sign-ups for the newsletter through creative ideas/approaches (like developing a referral program)

Mentorship

We have access to the tools you’ll need to edit, such as a premium membership to Splice, MailChimp, Canva, and anything else you may need.

Education

Prioritizing Mental Health Education. We are designing a tool that aims to connect teachers across Canada with the support they need to build resiliency within themselves and their students. The Teacher App serves to curate a hub for Canadian teachers where they can feel anchored in order to best support their students in their education. This will serve as a tool that offers teachers access to crucial resources, professional mental health services, and connection with other teachers and classrooms across Canada. Teachers deserve accessible, affordable, and appropriate support for their needs both inside and outside the classroom. What is currently available today is not sufficient for our teachers to thrive in their workplace, let alone our students.
