algorithms artificial intelligence machine learning predictive analytics researchThe goal of this project is to build a working prototype of an AI-powered recommendation system that provides personalized travel experience suggestions to users on the Roamlii platform. Using traveller interaction data and tourism business metadata, students will design and implement a backend system that delivers tailored recommendations based on user behavior and preferences.
To simplify AI/ML implementation, students will leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) AI services, such as Vertex AI, Recommendations AI, and BigQuery ML, to build and deploy machine learning models with minimal manual training.
By the end of the project, students will provide:
1. Working Prototype
- Backend system that processes user data and business data
- AI-powered recommendations using Google Cloud services
2. Technical Report
- Summary of ML approaches used (Rule-based vs AI-based)
- Performance analysis and comparison of different methods
3. Code Repository
- Fully documented source code (Python-based)
Providing specialized, in-depth knowledge and general industry insights for a comprehensive understanding.
Sharing knowledge in specific technical skills, techniques, methodologies required for the project.
Direct involvement in project tasks, offering guidance, and demonstrating techniques.
Scheduled check-ins to discuss progress, address challenges, and provide feedback.
