INTERNSHIP in the Entertainment Industry -- Writing: Grants, Copy for Sponsorships, Promotion

Are you interested in writing grants, copy and/or promotional material for sponsorships, general communications, marketing materials, and learning how to get funding for artists and other non-profit brands, all while keeping everything organized through the discipline of project management!?

Do you like to jump in and 'get the job done'? If so, please apply! The work can be done remotely.

General Purpose: Preparation of materials and completion of specific projects, while ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. The intern will learn best practices in writing and communication from experienced staff.

Deliverables
  • Writing grants and/or sponsorship materials
  • Content copy creation for use in promotional material
  • Writing convincing material to attract potential funders
  • Create campaigns; organize landing pages, and a funnel, for different interests; and gather interest
  • Identifying and implementing unique promotions and ways to grow engagement and enhance education and awareness
  • Responsible for providing materials that promote the brand and build credibility
  • Understanding all relevant guidelines and industry requirements
  • Creating and implementing a calendar
  • Working with other team members, organizing deliverables and coordinating the implementation
  • Writing and editing, and sending out email communications
  • Maintaining project tracking sheets
  • Conduct research and review materials to understand various tools, systems and processes
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures based on current and new methodologies
  • Database updates
  • Research market, identify opportunities and generate interest
  • Identify and incorporate trends
