Challenge Outline: Female entrepreneurs in the media: what can be learned from UK-based female entrepreneurs that have featured prominently in the media?

Key aims/objectives:

1. Which UK-based female entrepreneurs have gained the most press and publicity?

2. If we tracked back their media coverage, what do we observe in terms of publications, stories, language etc?

3. Why were these women able to gain publicity?

4. What has been the impact on their businesses?
