Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

Wee Watch is the largest network of licensed home childcare agencies in Canada. We have over 5000 children in our care in over 1000 daycare homes in Ontario. The student will be accountable to assist our organization's Communication Specialist by researching content (aligned with a theme or topic related to childcare) and writing Blogs and articles for our website, socials and online newsletters. They will also assist with the building of presentations to be used in training workshops. Our goal is to build a library of materials to pull from to use across various mediums with parents, childcare providers and for online presence.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

The student will be assigned the following tasks:

  • Researching content (related to child care, child development, children's games and crafts)
  • Writing content (articles, blogs), creating training games and presentations
  • Assist with creating social media posts for Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest
  • Designing children's activities (craft or games)
