Details

Our company produces an environmentally safe plant based bioresin used for binding and sealing with a goal to reduce current carbon producing additives. We require a social media awareness and marketing campaign to generate more public knowledge of the environmental benefits created with the use of our product lines.

We would like to work with students to design a new social media marketing campaign for our company.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

  • Familiarizing themselves with our company’s products, social media campaign goals and target market.
  • Identifying social media channels and strategies suitable for our company.
  • Planning types of campaign content to create for each channel.
  • Identifying metrics to monitor throughout the campaign.
  • Creating a social media content calendar that outlines important steps in the campaign.

Bonus steps in the process would also include:

  • Recommending social media management tools to schedule our content.
Deliverables

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

  • Understanding of our company’s products and goals
  • Identification of suitable social media channels and strategies
  • Identification of types of campaign content to create
  • Identification of metrics to monitor the campaign’s success
  • Creation of a social media content calendar to organize the campaign

Bonus steps would include:

  • Recommending social media management tools

Final deliverables should include

  • A final report with a social media content calendar.
  • A 10-minute presentation.
Mentorship

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

  • Our current products and social media marketing
  • Our customer and industry insights
  • Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.

At BDT, our mission is to become a leader in producing naturally engineered bio-remedies to support the global commitment to restore and replenish the environment.

Biodiffusion is a plant-based bio-resin manufacturing company, headquartered in Cambridge Ontario. Our bio-resin technologies have superior binding, sealing and cementitious properties enabling a broad range of applications in several large markets, each representing billions of dollars in opportunity and validated through previous commercial applications.

Our bio-resin and bio-sealant formulations can be used to solve significant challenges in a diversity of markets that include secondary road stabilization, mining (acid-mine drainage and tailing erosion), porous and non-porous sealants, agriculture (alternative to plastics and soil erosion control) and packaging. Importantly, Biodiffusion’s bio-resins are competitive in price, performance and process as compared to alternate solutions, while offering genuine environmentally friendly outcomes including carbon capture.
