We hope to find a more effective way to increase sales on our TwinsMusic website store, which is home to a number of publications, CD's. and subscription packages for our new royalty-free music library called MusMe. Our organization is able to offer a virtual internship opportunity for 4 students.
The primary focus for the student will be:
- Conducting a full audit of our website; define our organization's brand and core value proposition; identify strengths and weaknesses of our current sales approach; assess where and how to improve our company sales during the pandemic how to differentiate from our competitors.
- Create an attractive sales campaign that focuses on targeting the largest global outreach while specifying what target audience will have the highest purchase intention.
- Assessing our industry’s landscapes and competitor websites for sales and business development insights.
- Compiling a list of our current contacts and expendable resources.
- Reaching out to untouched connections and potential clients in seek of professional relationships.
- Working alongside our sales and marketing team to create a functional and successful sales strategy to implement into our daily practices.
Our goal at the end of this experience is:
- Professional Sales - For the student(s) to help us improve our brand's presence and capture greater market share.
- Sales Research - For the student(s) to help us gain a better understanding of our target market and ensure we are optimally positioned and our product and pricing aligns with our target sector/customer.
- Prospecting Strategy - For the student(s) to help us implement better prospecting that increases conversion rates and boost our sales team's performance.
- SEO Strategy & Recommendations - For the student(s) to help us generate more traffic and revenue through search engines.
Other duties the student may complete could include: (indicate other duties as exemplified below)
- Assist with outbound email marketing campaigns as needed; measure and report on performance of these campaigns using tools such as (indicate tools used, eg. HubSpot, Google Sheets, Excel)
- Attend virtual workshops and virtual sales meetings when necessary.
We will plan to communicate with our virtual intern(s) using these communication tools: Riipen Messaging, email, Zoom, Facebook Messenger and Instagram.
