The competition aims to engage university students from across Canada to provide policy recommendations to the Government of Canada on what it needs to focus on in its relations with African states as it is currently looking to develop a strategy.
This will involve several different steps for the students, including:
- Reaching out to universities to register to participate in the competition.
- Soliciting sponsorships and partnerships.
- Preparing initial marketing materials.
By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities:
- Successfully registered universities to participate in the competition.
- Secured sponsorships and partnerships for the competition.
- Prepared initial marketing materials for the competition.
Final deliverables:
- A finalized list of participating universities.
- A list of secured sponsorships and partnerships.
- Completed marketing materials for the competition.
Students will be supported throughout the project period and CAYOP will aim to provide career resources to help students, including references and recommendations.
