We want students to help us build a marketing strategy plan to grow and engage our target market. Our target market includes; international students looking to transition to work permit or permanent residency in Canada, Canadian citizens, or Permanent Residents looking to sponsor or support applications for their family or friends overseas. We’d like to know how we can maximize the use of different channels and get recommendations to improve our messaging.

The main questions we’d like students to help us answer are the following:

• How do students currently perceive our brand and marketing, based on publicly available information about our company?
• What channels should we utilize for promotion, including ones we are not currently using?
• What budget is appropriate for advertising, given our goals?
• How could our messaging be updated to better explain our value proposition?

Preference will be given to students with the following skillsets

• Strong written communication skills to help with the creation and publishing of blog contents
• An understanding of SEOs to help with getting blog and media content to the right audience.

I would onboard the students like I would a Shirah employee. This is also done in con junction with our Human Resources Manager. A 1 - 2 hour orientation is also set to welcome you and show you how things are done, introduce you to our work culture and team etc.

Weekly check-ins to monitor the status of the projects and the student is always welcome to email me with questions. We have a trello board where information can be easily disseminated and checklist provided on every task assigned.
