- Operations - Recommend process improvements or redesign processes; develop improvements to business processes; introduce quality assurance into our internal processes.
- Marketing - supporting the marketing team with their deliverables.
- Sales - Design a new/improved prospecting process for our sales team; design a new/improved pricing or service structure.
Our goal at the end of this experience is:
- Operations - For the student(s) to help us implement more efficient and effective processes that maximize employee performance/customer satisfaction.
- Marketing - For the student(s) to help us reach more customers, effectively promote our brand, mission, and story.
- Sales - For the student(s) to help us roll-out better prospecting that increases conversion rates and boost our sales.
Other duties the student may complete could include:
- Scheduling meetings with prospective clients.
- Note-taking at important meetings.
- Supporting teams with their challenges.
Final deliverables should include excel sheets used to track outreach, screenshots of meetings attended, non-confidential meeting minute reports, and any other documents that were created to support us with internal affairs.
Students will work closely with the CEO who is supervising and available for questions. This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary.
We will plan to communicate with our virtual intern using these communication tools: Riipen messaging, Slack, email.

Prioritizing Mental Health Education. We are designing a tool that aims to connect teachers across Canada with the support they need to build resiliency within themselves and their students. The Teacher App serves to curate a hub for Canadian teachers where they can feel anchored in order to best support their students in their education. This will serve as a tool that offers teachers access to crucial resources, professional mental health services, and connection with other teachers and classrooms across Canada. Teachers deserve accessible, affordable, and appropriate support for their needs both inside and outside the classroom. What is currently available today is not sufficient for our teachers to thrive in their workplace, let alone our students.
