Details

We are looking to identify additional/other groups of people who could be Bird & Blend customers and understand how to engage them with our brand and products. We would like to look at effective ways of turning customers and brands into advocates so that we are seen as a gifting brand. We are looking for new ways to encourage customers and brands to purchase Bird & Blend products not only for themselves but also as gifts for other people. We would like to be recognised as the number one specialty tea company in the UK and the tea gifting brand of choice. 

Deliverables

We envisage that this would require the following objectives:

  • Identifying and implementing a strategic plan in order to achieve the project aims.
  • Reviewing existing research and information including customer profiles, customer buying behaviour data, product information and sales data, customer feedback surveys, social media and online community engagement.
  • Identifying and implementing customer research such as carrying out a nationwide survey or other types of surveys such as a partner survey, for example, for both current customers and non-customers. Talking to our customers, talking to our super fans, talking to people who are not customers (but who could be our customers).
  • Carrying out competitor analysis with a focus on who our competitors’ customers are, for example, how our competitors engage their customers etc.
  • Carrying out competitor analysis and/or research into gifting brands - what works well for them, how they engage their customers.
  • Carrying out research into potential new markets/spaces for us to be in physically (within the UK) and online (internationally).
  • Make recommendations with a strategic plan for marketing, brand or other activities which will bring new customers to Bird & Blend both in store and online.
  • Make recommendations with a strategic plan for marketing, brand or other activities which will help turn customers and partners into Bird & Blend advocates and elevate our identity as a gifting brand.


Mentorship

Students will connect directly with the employer on a regular basis for mentorship and supervision throughout the project. Check ins will be at a time agreed by both sides at the beginning of the project.
