The main goal of this project is to create a compelling social media campaign across multiple platforms that educates and empowers Black women on the impact of nutrition on fertility. Learners will gain experience with Flick Tech, participate in our invite-only Meta's "For the Culture" program, and video editing using Capcut, while learning how to present complex, research-backed information in an accessible and engaging way.

What are the specific project deliverables of this project?

At the end of the project, learners are expected to submit the following:

  1. Content Calendar: A six-week content calendar scheduled through Flick Tech, including posts tailored for Instagram, Facebook and Linkedin. As well as, engage inour private invite only Meta's "For the Culture" program.
  2. Content Pieces (Per Learner):
  • 3 short-form videos (15-60 seconds each) edited in Capcut, highlighting key nutritional insights for fertility and wellness.
  • 3 static graphics with evidence-based messaging on fertility and nutrition.
  • Captions for all posts with educational, relatable text that connects to BGN’s mission.
  • Hashtag banks optimized for reach and engagement within the Black wellness community.
  1. Engagement Report: An analysis of engagement metrics gathered from Flick Tech, with insights and recommendations for future campaigns.


Project Expectations & Skills Required:

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

Learners will work on the following tasks to achieve the project goal:

Main Deliverables:

  • Research nutrition and fertility topics for evidence-based content creation.
  • Develop and schedule social media posts using Flick Tech, optimized for engagement.
  • Create and edit short-form videos using Capcut, designed for educational and engaging purposes.
  • Participate in Meta's "For the Culture" program, adapting content as required.
  • Compile an engagement report to track the performance and impact of content.

Skills Required:

  • Social media management (especially with Flick Tech).
  • Basic video editing (Capcut).
  • Strong writing for captions and hashtag development.
  • Analytical skills to evaluate engagement and provide actionable insights.


Project Details & Milestones:


Week 1: Project Kick-off and Onboarding

  • Focus: Introduction to BGN’s mission and brand guidelines.
  • Deliverables: Research foundational information on nutrition and fertility.
  • Tools: Onboarding to Flick Tech, Capcut, and Meta’s "For the Culture" program.

Week 2: Continued Onboarding, Demonstrated Competencies, & Initial Tasks

  • Tasks: Start creating initial content drafts (video and static).
  • Deliverables: Draft first short-form video and static graphic, receive feedback.

Week 3: Early Project Work & Initial Milestones

  • Tasks: Complete and schedule additional videos, captions, and graphics using Flick Tech.
  • Deliverables: Progress check and feedback session on engagement metrics.

Week 4: Mid-Project Progress & Review

  • Tasks: Submit additional content and adjust based on insights and guidelines from "For the Culture."
  • Deliverables: Mid-project review on content and analytics with BGN.

Week 5: Final Project Work & Pre-Submission

  • Tasks: Complete final content pieces and gather final engagement data.
  • Deliverables: Engagement report draft and final content scheduling.

Week 6: Final Project Submission & Wrap Up

  • Tasks: Submit final engagement report and content analysis.
  • Final Deliverable: Complete report, feedback summary, and content recommendations.

Learner Support:

We understand that mentorship and guidance are critical to the success of both the learners and the project. Please share about your ability to support learners and the support channels you will use.


Weekly Meetings: Employers are expected to meet with project groups once a week. BGN can commit to weekly check-ins with learners for feedback and guidance.


Mentorship Hours: BGN can provide up to one hour per week for 1:1 mentorship or additional guidance as needed.


Support Channels: Learners can communicate via Slack or email for questions and support outside of scheduled meetings.

  • Office hours on Fridays for additional guidance if needed.
