Details

The main objective of this internship is to produce compelling digital content that effectively communicates Play Forever's mission and programs, thereby increasing engagement and participation among our target communities of underserved youth and seniors. The intern will create and implement social media strategies using video and graphic content to enhance online visibility and support our impact-driven campaigns.

Deliverables

Learners are expected to complete the following tasks and deliverables to achieve the project goal:

  1. Video Content Creation:
  • Produce at least 12 short-form videos tailored for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, showcasing the impact of Play Forever's programs.
  • Videos should include compelling narratives that highlight participant testimonials, program success stories, and day-to-day activities.
  1. Graphic Content Production:
  • Design and create 15-20 engaging graphics, including carousels and infographics, for use across Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
  • Graphics should convey key information about Play Forever's missions, such as program benefits, upcoming events, and community impacts.
  1. Social Media Strategy Implementation:
  • Develop a detailed content calendar for a 3-month period, specifying post frequencies, themes, and strategic goals for each platform.
  • Analyze engagement data to refine content strategies and increase follower interaction.
  1. Community Engagement Report:
  • Compile a report detailing the engagement metrics of the created content, insights from audience interactions, and recommendations for future content strategies.
  • Include an analysis of trending formats and hashtags that have driven the most engagement.

These tasks and deliverables are designed to increase community engagement, raise awareness about the organization's impact, and provide the intern with hands-on experience in digital marketing within a nonprofit context.
