Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

Positions available: 1-2 (teams or individual)

THE PROJECT

As our graphic designer, you will use your knowledge, expertise and skills in the fields of typography, imagery, space, texture to help craft a unique and memorable brand image for MiTravel.

  • Contribute to building and refining the existing MiTravel brand system by establishing a clear & compelling art direction.
  • Design visual communication assets, including social media templates, digital publications, videos and animations, and other digital and physical materials.
  • Visually establish brand consistency across all communication platforms and channels.
  • Collaborate closely with the Co-Founder & Lead Designer, Founder & CEO, and the Marketing team to understand the targeted audience groups and contribute to creative strategies.
  • Staying in the loop and on top of the latest standards, changes, trends in the graphic design field.

Please note: the selected student candidates will work on this project on a part-time basis for about 10 hours per week (for a maximum duration of 8 weeks).

THE CANDIDATE

You are a strong team player with a maker spirit that would like to use your talents to help shape the early vision of MiTravel. You are confident in your abilities and motivated to produce quality work. Most importantly, you are passionate about traveling and enjoy planning for a trip!

GRAPHIC DESIGNER

  • A portfolio of your work that showcases your conceptual thinking.
  • Strong communication and visual storytelling skills and able to clearly articulate rationale for design decisions.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, tight deadlines, and shifting priorities.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and iterate across a diverse set of ideas.
  • Demonstrate a high level of competency working in the Adobe Creative Suite.
