Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

We are looking to become suppliers of hospitals, disability centers and geriatric homes. Ora-3D toothbrush is an autonomous brushing solution, and through our research, we have discovered caregiver nurses struggle to practice effective oral hygiene of immobilized patients. This malpractice often leads to increase risk of lung infections & pneumonia in these patients, resulting in low quality of life.

We think we with our autonomous brushing solution, we will be able to empower both, these patients & nurses, with more effective oral hygiene, overall resulting in better quality of life.

We are looking for four students, interested in sales, and/or business development to help us reach out to hospitals, geriatric centers and disability homes to help create meaningful partnerships to help improve lives of patients in care.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

Students should be prepared to:

  • Maintain sustainable relationships with clients (ex. Long-term care homes)
  • Initiate and maintain relationships with customer accounts
  • Become an expert on the company's product offerings and benefits to be able to effectively communicate advantages and conduct sales
  • Engage with long-term care home representatives and other contacts to perform sales activities and product demonstrations in order to promote purchasing of Ora-3D products
  • Maximizing use of marketing resources to maintain and develop customer relationships for the purpose of growing the customers’ confidence in Ora-3D
  • Preparing and presenting sales pitch/presentations to long-term care home customers.

The final deliverables should take the form of:

  • Well-developed sales strategy for Ora-3D
  • Validated Problem-Solution conversations with the leads.
  • A fully completed internal infrastructure of past touchpoints with various leads and clients
  • Final Sales Contract.
How will you support learners in completing the project?

Students will connect directly with the CEO for mentorship throughout the beginning of project, upon which they will then have a direct line of contact with the Head of Sales Partnerships who will act as their team lead. They will participate in weekly touch base meetings over Zoom and/or in person alongside team work sessions.

The Sales Team will go through a sales training workshop alongside continuous mentoring from the Head of Sales Partnerships.
