sales presentations creativityWith the soft-launching of the service, FurrySitter needs to validate the traction model. Before concluding, sufficient pet sitters will need to serve FurrySitter's customers. And it is the background of this project. Internship support will be essential for the success of the trial run of the business.
Objectives
We hope to achieve the following targets by the end of the project:
- Build up a lead list with 100+ pet sitters/ pet-care professionals
- Getting 30%+ pet-care professionals onboarding to FurrySitter
Students will need to apply their creativity to qualified pet-care professionals' outreach in various ways. For example, email, social media, anything they can think of, in a workable approach for an early-stage start-up.
A sales pitch approach will then be applied to engage potential pet-care professionals and attract them to join FurrySitter.
Students will also need to support pet-care professional profiles setup.
Throughout the project, the participating student will be required to come up with:
- A list of 100+ pet sitter leads
- A list of 30+ pet sitters onboarding to FurrySitter
Open communication is welcome at FurrySitter. Emails or text messages are always encouraged for swift communications.
To keep the project in good momentum, the participating student will need to spare time for the following check-in sessions:
- Kick start call upon project confirmation for project debrief
- Weekly huddles to walk through the status checklist
About the company
Finding a perfect pet-care professional is always hard for pet parents. They found that good pet-care professionals are always fully booked, but they hesitate to try new pet sitters with uncertain service quality. They find it hard to get immediate pet-care support when something comes up too.
Therefore, FurrySitter is developing a service to expand pet parents to more options and ease pet parents’ worries about pet-care service quality by combining traditional pet-care knowledge and technology. By affiliating with pet-care professionals in different districts, pet parents will access a wider group of pet-care professionals. At the same time, the application of technology and gadgets for more real-time updates can provide extra relief to pet parents.
