We hope to update and develop new backend features for our existing mobile app to enhance user experience. We also hope to gain insight into different aspects of our mobile app that could be optimized.

Students should be prepared to:

• Architecture and Design optimizations for the Mobile App backend
• Analyze the performance and scalability impact of various in-place and proposed designs
• Support development of documentation within a team environment
• Follow a given template to develop features as requested
• Create and integrate fully-functioning features as discussed, with stakeholder assistance in providing content and copyrighting
• Test prototypes with other team members, refining ideas with feedback

By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities:

• Design and implement all requested features for our mobile app to enhance user experience
• Present new features to the employer with the context of choices they made, problems they encountered, and next steps they recommend
• Support development of documentation within a team environment
• Report progress and issues to the lead team developer
• Implementation and documentation of updates

Final deliverables:

• Development of new key features implemented in the mobile
• Report/presentation on optimization of mobile app by implementing, describing key strategies.

Students will connect directly with our team for mentorship throughout the project.

Regular meetings will be held.

We will be able to provide answers to questions regarding:

• Current products and website design
• Customer and industry insights
• Input on choices, issues, or anything else students may encounter.

Students will also have the opportunity to request a meeting with the employer at any time.

Throughout the project, students will receive regular feedback to support continuous growth and improvement.
