Our team is looking for a software developer to be part of the exciting project we’re working on at The Teacher App.

1. Create back-end and front-end coding to build our Web App.
2. Work with the team as a whole to deliver technical goals.
3. Work closely with our designer and CEO to meet expectations and execute the vision.
4. Working with tools and programs such as Slack, Wordpress, SQL, and other technical/development tools.

We’re excited to work with students who can help us not only create this new and exciting product, but also take part in a movement bigger than ourselves to reach: A healthier Canada by supporting and sustaining teachers and students and their mental health.

This is a great project for students to practice their development expertise, as the impact of their work on this project can be easily measured and communicated.

We're looking at :

1. Creating a paid-user sign-up page.
2. Creating a shop for affiliate marketing opportunities.
3. Creating a point-system for more engaged users.

Students will need to submit screenshots of functional pages that reflect the above expectations.

Our Executive Director will be on standby at all times to support. There is an expectation that communication will be open and transparent at all times at The Teacher App. Students/interns will also meet with the Executive Director periodically for mental health check-ins to ensure they are healthy and supported.
