We want to grow our social media and marketing presence in a big way. This will involve creating various types of social media content (copy for posts, artwork, videos, stories, reels, etc)


If you’re generally interested in science, technology, and education and have even a little bit of artistic talent and creativity, we’d love to hear from you!

Deliverables
  • Find, design, and add artwork to pre-written short and long-form content.
  • Add music, artwork, and dynamic functionality to posts and reels for cross-platform use.
  • Create your own original tweets, ig posts, and blog posts about STEM content (primarily statistics and neuroscience).
  • Work on social media content and strategy for all channels and help grow social media following across all platforms.
  • Do marketing research for different types of STEM-based social media.


-Deliverables for these tasks could include things like

  • Images (png files) for social media posts created in Canva (or possibly other graphic design software).
  • Short videos (mp4 files) for social media created in Canva (or possibly other graphic design software).
  • Blog posts submitted via a Google doc.
  • Research summaries submitted via a Google Doc.
  • Marketing strategies submitted via a Google doc.
  • Time tracking and other tabular data submitted via Google Sheets (or Excel


Mentorship

Students will work primarily with the owner/director to understand the company in order to deliver creative, informative, and entertaining content. Meetings will occur regularly to ensure that the student is comfortable in their role, understands their tasks, and that progress is being made on tasks.
