Details

In this project, students will be asked to use their previous knowledge in relation to site investigation.

The technical specification for an offshore site investigation in relation to recent Amplify Energy oil spill in Southern California. Project outcomes might include:

  • Determine how data generated by high-resolution seismic techniques might be integrated into the TS platform.
  • Determine how data generated by marine acoustics systems might be integrated into the TS platform.
  • Determine how data generated by submersible oil-pipeline sensor probes might be integrated into the TS platform.
  • Identify competitors to Amplify Energy underwater maritime oil pipeline operators for comparison.
  • Identify similar tech specs that have been implemented by said competitors.
  • Identify possible positive and negative effects of TS being implemented.
  • Based on the data, summarize recommended changes to consider prior to implementation.
