As part of the Riipen project, I had the opportunity to work with Made in Luxury to help create a comprehensive training program for their new employees. From the very beginning, my experience with the organization was extremely positive.
I first got in touch with the CFO, Mr. Kavyne, and the CEO, Monique. Both of them stood out as visionary leaders who were truly passionate about their business. Even before the interview, I explored their website and was impressed by the attention to detail—it reflected their deep connection to their brand and their values. Everything from the way their contact details were presented to the language they used showed how much thought they had put into the business.
Our initial meeting felt more like a collaborative discussion than a formal interview. We had an open conversation about the current challenges they were facing, especially the lack of a structured training program. At the time, training was mostly happening on the job, which wasn't always effective. They wanted a more formal and consistent approach that also complied with Ontario's norms and Health and Safety regulations.
What stood out the most was how flexible, open-minded, and supportive they were throughout the project. They welcomed new ideas, encouraged us to think creatively, and gave us the freedom to use our own experience in shaping the training framework. They were always available for quick calls and were clear about what they needed, which made the process smooth and collaborative.
Even when it came to making changes or revisions, they were respectful and clear in their feedback. They shared detailed documents outlining their expectations, which helped us meet their needs effectively.
Overall, working with Made in Luxury was a great experience. Their professionalism, openness to new ideas, and clear communication made it a truly rewarding project. They truly value growth, not just for their business but also for the people they work with.
