Our overall experience with the learners was really positive and enjoyable. They all worked hard to fulfil the brief and their presentation was very good - some parts were stronger than others, for example, the way they answered our questions was really good. On the other hand, they spent too much time telling us what they were going to do in the presentation and not enough time on some of the detail. Understanding their research and their recommendations more would have been helpful. I think when the learners visited our company and had a tour of our facility I had expected them to be more curious, ask more questions and try to learn as much as possible about our customers (which was the focus of the consultation project). Similarly, the presentation could have demonstrated their understanding of our brand and what is special/unique about us. That did come out a little more during some of their answers, but the presentation itself could have been more 'on brand' which would have shown that they had embedded themselves a bit more in order to research new audiences and new potential customers for us. Overall, a great experience for us and it was wonderful meeting the learners and being part of this project.
