The Sales and Marketing Connections program is designed to help internationally-trained sales and marketing professionals to succeed in the Canadian labour market. Your organization provides the project and these professional students provide their insights.
Phase 1 – Project Plan: Students will meet with organization representative(s) to devise the project scope, deliverables, and prepare a detailed plan for completion of the project.
Phase 2 – Project Execution: Students will work on deliverables outlined in the project plan. Teams will periodically communicate with organization representative(s) as needed to complete project tasks.
Phase 3 - Outcome: All groups in the class will work on a single organization's project and the best deliverables are provided to you for your use and feedback. The final deliverables vary, based on the project selected and are agreed upon in the planning phase. It could be a report, live presentation, or project plan, depending on the scope of your organization's goals.

Project Examples
Starting in April, a full class of professional students in groups of 5 will spend 75 hours per team collectively working to advance a sales or marketing initiative of your choice.
Examples include, but are not limited to:
- Launching a rebranding strategy for your business.
- Creating sample marketing collateral pieces.
- Developing an inbound marketing strategy for your website.
- Creating a sales prospecting strategy.
- Marketing and distribution channels for new product.
In this program, experienced Sales and Marketing professionals are provided Canadian workplace and academic training to allow them to transition into a full time position in the Ontario Sales and Marketing sector. During this project, they are guided by industry leaders while receiving academic training from Humber College.

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:
Provide a dedicated contact who is available to answer periodic emails or phone calls over the duration of the project to address students' questions.
Be available for a quick phone call with the instructor to initiate your relationship and confirm your scope is an appropriate fit for the course.
