Learner goals and capabilities

Trade & Transportation at St. Clair College enables students to enter the industry as business professionals, capable of investigating target market demands, analyzing international shipping routes and determining the best mode of transportation. Teams apply the most appropriate International Commercial Terms (Incoterms ® 2020) to transfer the cost and risk when moving goods from the seller to the buyer. Students will be well prepared to develop most efficient and effective routing plans based on international shipping hubs and patterns. These capabilities will offer a competitive advantage that today’s global organizations need.
