Students in teams of one will apply appropriate UX research methods to develop actionable insights that will help you improve your products, systems, and services. Our third-year students have a few terms of research and design practice under their belts and are ready to apply their skills in the real world.

The final deliverable will depend on the nature of the project requested depending on your organization's needs.
Project Examples
The Honours Bachelor of Digital Experience Design is a four-year degree that produces designers who can solve problems using human-centered, socially conscious, and economically viable digital solutions.
Project examples include but are not limited to:
- Create wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes to illustrate design ideas for web & mobile applications
- Design user interface (UI) elements to provide interactive, informative, and engaging experiences
- Develop user personas, journey maps, information architecture, user flows, etc.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research (surveys, interviews etc.) to inform and validate design decisions
- Perform usability tests to gain feedback and provide insights that help enhance user experiences -- George Brown College has state-of-the-art user testing facilities
- Assist with the development of augmented reality (AR) prototypes using appropriate tools
- Create 2D & 3D visuals for concept development of digital products, systems, and services
- Identify and troubleshoot user experience (UX) problems (e.g., responsiveness, accessibility etc.)
- Create animated graphs or charts for walkthroughs of datasets for various digital visualization projects
- Participate in design jams/sprints using knowledge of design tools such as card sorting, empathy maps, storyboarding etc.
Additional company criteria
Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:
Compensation must be provided by the employer. Are you able to provide an hourly wage (in CAD)?
Are you available for a quick call with the Field Education staff to initiate your relationship and confirm that the scope of your project fits the student's co-op requirements?
I understand that a Work Term Agreement must be completed by both the student and employer before beginning this experience.
I understand that an Employer Evaluation Form will be sent to me after the end of the student's co-op work term to assess their performance (worth 50% of their final grade). I agree to complete it.
