our participants have at least five years of experience in the engineering sector, with a minimum of 2 years of involvement in project teams or leading and directing projects. Objective:
Engage in project management activities providing project management support to companies, as described below.
Work with experienced engineering project managers with international experience to develop a project management plan for a project of your choosing. Brought to you by ACCES Employment and Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU), this unique program which supports highly-skilled internationally-trained engineering professionals transition into the Canadian job market, will deliver the project management aspect of your project in hand.
Upon agreeing with project owner, here is what we can offer/do:
Having a typical scope of a project, our experienced Internationally Trained PM Engineers (~20 program participants), in the ~8 weeks duration, will assist in developing and preparing one or more of the followings: Project charter, Plan, scheduling, Risk Management and/or Communication plan, toward execution, following PMP principles.
Based on program outline and length, the program participants will not be executing the project tasks. However, you will be presented with a roadmap, a project management plan report with outlines that you can implement to execute the project successfully.
What we cannot commit to:
Due to the 8-week duration, participants in this venture will be only involved in project management aspects according to PMI-PMP guidelines and knowledge area. However, cannot be engaged in research, assessment, report, design, technical analysis, or providing technical oversight (during operations) etc.
Learners
Deliverables:

The project plans will reference the Project Charter, Scope Statement, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) , and other information that will be relevant to each specific project or industry.
2. A presentation summarizing the project plan and highlighting any key considerations. The organization (industry partner) is invited to attend.
