Bring on students from the University of Sussex to be your student-consultants, in a project-based experience. Students will work on one or more projects over the partnership period, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools.
Students are introduced to the different levels of behaviour in the workplace, the role of leadership and management, and the causes of organisational change. Content is structured around four key areas: the individual, the group, the organisation and society. Students will start off by exploring the nature and contexts of organisations and management practice in the private, public and voluntary sector, then they will examine different theories and approaches on leadership and ways to manage people, and finally, how the process and drivers of change, and the responses of staff and other stakeholders, play an integral part in organisational life and improving performance.
The final project deliverables might include:
- A 10-15 minute presentation of key findings and recommendations.
- A detailed report including their research, analysis, insights, and recommendations.
- A pamphlet/poster or manual for distribution to your organization members.
